There is no better way to get your membership working for you than getting active with  your fellow members.  People routinely notice eachother's abilities and become more open to referring business this way.  Here are descriptions and ways to reach committee heads to find out when they meet and how you might contribute.

Alliances	Ana Fernandez-Parmet (610) 446-4000 afparmet@parmetech.com		Forging relationships with other organizations who can share mailing lists for certain events, or even partner with us to hold an event.  Examples:  Women's Way, Wharton Small Business Center, minority women's business groups, Temple's Fox School of Business, WHYY, etc.
Corporate Partners	Ashley Baptiste, Co-Chair conferences@verizon.net   Christy Rea, Co-Chair crea@getbiggreen.com		Extremely valuable experience representing our chapter to solicit financial and in-kind support from major corporations and organizations in the Delaware Valley.  Opportunity to forge relationships with top area executives, supplier diversity, public relations and similar contacts.  Excellent professional visibility for business.   For details click here
Education	Mary Payne, Chair (610) 499-1411 mary@payneconsulting.net		This committee is responsible for planning the major educational programs, such as this year's Leadership Conference in october.  We also coordinate the CEO Roundtables for new businesses, family businesses and business with revenues of at least 50,000/year, those with revenue of at least 250,000/year, and those with revenue exceeding 1 million. You can get involved, and not have to work as hard as other committees!

Marketing & PR	Co-Chairs: Marifran Manzo  -  PR (610)687-2690 mmanzo@multiplanetmarketing.com   Paige Miller - Marketing (610) 687-2690 pmiller@multiplanetmarketing.com		Don't want committee work?  NOT a problem...what we really want is your best thinking and creative ideas.  Regular meetings, just check with Paige or the others.   Under the exellent leadership of 2 professionally excellent co-chairs, this 'nerve center' committee of 6 to 8 people in the fields of PR, creative, sales, and marketing, collaborate on NAWBO project work.  Members often end up doing business with one another, sharing valuable referrals as well.
Membership	Shanley Rassler, Co-Chair (215) 545-4206 srassler@tfamail.com   Patricia   patricia@pvmdesigns.com		Regular meetings.  Just come with your ideas, which are the best contribution you could make!!!   The co-chairs head up  efforts to grow membership, enrich member experience, and practively reach current members to keep them involved in ways that offer business value.
Programs	Karen Higgins (610) 831-5723 khiggins@aandecomm.com		This chapter runs close to 30 programs annually, mostly at local office sites throughout the greater Philadelphia region.  Many business workshops are run by specific appropriate department heads of our corporate partners (law firms, accounting, banking), but also run by our own member business (marketing, PR, pricing, financial management, etc.).  Reviewing program choices, planning logistics and our annual calendar involves one in the heart of chapter activity.  Click here for program details.
Public Policy	Jane McLaughlin (215) 793-9225 jane.mclaughlin@lifecyclesoftware.com		NAWBO has focused on public policy issues of national and statewide interest impacting women entrepreneurs and small businesses since 1974. NAWBO was a leading force in the White House Conferences on Small Business held in 1986 and 1995, and has an active presence on the Hill and with the White House to ensure that women business owners have equal access to opportunities to grow and expand their businesses.  This committee would report to the board and membership on federal, state and local issues, as such.  For more details click here…

Treasurer	Mary Duff (610) 304-4560 mduff@duffaccountingsolutions.com		Mary Duff has tirelessly served this chapter for several years, reconciling our books each month with our administrative office in Fort Washington.  Anyone in this field who could offer help, would be most welcome!
